TheRobinette Legal Group PLLCwas pleased to welcomeHoagy’s Heroes, a Motorcycle Non-profit group from Glendale, West Virginia and Tabs for Tomorrow as they presented approximately 337 gallons of aluminum tabs to theRonald McDonald Housein Morgantown.

Hoagy’s Heroes and Tabs for Tomorrow enlisted the help of hundreds of West Virginians as they pulled in the 337 gallons of aluminum tabs which werepresented to the Ronald McDonald House on October 27th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.

The Ronald McDonald House serves as a home away from home for parents and families of seriously ill children who are hospitalized in Morgantown. This essential resource for families depends upon support from our local community.

Who Are Hoagy’s Heroes?

Ronald McDonald House, Hoagy’s Heroes & Tabs for Tomorrow

Hoagy’s Heroesare first and foremost bikers with a heart and love for children.

They not only collecttabs for recycling, but these motorcycle enthusiasts also organize and participate in long-distance charity rides for the benefit of local children’s charities.

Hoagy’s Heroesriders have collected $243,500 for children’s charities and have collectively ridden over 1,039,000 miles. Each rider is asked to submit a donation to participate in a ride and is also encouraged to solicit as many sponsors as possible to raise funds for designated charities.

These bikers believe that the true Heroes are the children and the families of those who have been diagnosed as having life-threatening disorders, those born with autism, and ones who have lost a parent who was serving our country. Hoagy’s Heroes is committed to raising funds to allow others enjoy the wonderful things many of us take for granted.

The group’s founder,Hoagy Carmichael, is also a strong advocate formotorcycle safetyand best practices for bikers.

Dexton McKinney: Tabs for Tomorrow

Tabs for Tomorrowis an endeavor founded and led by 17-year-oldDexton Mckinneyof Wetzel County, WV.

Dexton collected over 50 gallons of aluminum tabs for charity and has spent hundreds of hours collecting and processing the tabs. Through his promotional efforts, individuals from six states have mailed tabs to him to add to his efforts.

Hoagy’s Heroes has recognized Dexton’s efforts, and the organization has invited Dexton to be an honorary member. Dexton was invited to ride with Hoagy’s Heroes to Morgantown to deliver the tabs to the Ronald McDonald House.
