The Lawyers of Distinction award recognizes long-term excellence in the practice of law. Attorney Jeff Robinette is a charter member of the Lawyers of Distinction and was nominated and selected for this honor again for 2022.
The platform analyzes work, experience, and abilities based on the twelve independent criteria as described below. The online platform then generates a numerical score of 1 to 5 for each of the factors meant to recognize the applicant’s achievements and peer recognition. The scores from each category are factored, with the most objective criteria such as educational background, years of experience, and AVVO and Google reviews given greater weight. The numbers are then totaled and averaged for a cumulative objective score.

Step 3 – Ethics Review & Background Check
Once a final score is generated using Provisional Patent # 62/743,254, the applicant is subjected to a final background check and Ethics Review.
Step 4 – Final Selection
Those applicants who have achieved a minimum passing score and have no disqualifying ethical violations within 10 years before completion of the application are then eligible for acceptance to Lawyers of Distinction.
Lawyers of Distinction Members have been selected based upon a review and vetting process by our Selection Committee utilizing U.S. Provisional Patent # 62/743,254. The platform generates a numerical score of 1 to 5 for each of the 12 enumerated factors which are meant to recognize the applicant’s achievements and peer recognition. Members are then subject to a final review for ethical violations within the past ten years before confirmation of Membership.
