Clarksburg, WV: According to the Harrison County 911 Communication Center, a fatal motorcycle accident was reported on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at the intersection of Lodgeville Road and Emily Drive (Rte 50) near the old Eat’N Park location in Bridgeport.
According to officials on the scene, the accident was between a motorcycle and a vehicle, and one person is confirmed as dead as a result.
Route 50 westbound was shut down at this time while an investigation and cleanup of the scene are performed.
The Bridgeport fire and police departments, Clarksburg fire and police departments, as well as the W.Va. Medical Examiner’s office, were on the scene investigating the collision.
